Will Power

Where does our will power come from?  There are many things that people acknowledge would be a good idea, i.e. diet, exercise, study etc., but actually doing those things may be very difficult.  Why do some people seem to be able to discipline themselves but others cannot?  What is the difference?  Is it our upbringing, or our temperament?  What is it and how can we change it?  Can we change it?

I believe that God is able to bring about changes in our lives.  That process may be quick, but often it is a slow process. The good news is that God loves us as we are and will help us to become what we can be in Christ.  A key to happiness is to be able to accept ourselves with where we are currently in the process, even while we seek to become what we ought to be.

Every day is a new day, a new start.  Each day we begin anew.

This is a very good thing. A new day to start again. A new day – what will it bring?

I love this quote “Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.”

Gloria, it is in each new moment that we decide the course of our lives.
